Jonathan Scott added that he and the "Property Brothers" team seek out tile options with a unique "shape, pattern, and color" as "this is one of the easiest ways to make a bathroom pop."

If you're unsure about brightly colored tiles in your bathroom, you can always go for one of the following alternatives. Face cloths, towels, hand towels, or even a bathroom rug in your chosen color are the perfect way to keep a color scheme going without changing major details like flooring or walls. Naturally, tweaking minor details is the easiest way to incorporate a harmonious color scheme into your bedroom and bathroom.

Additionally, you can bring dimension to a room by pairing different shades of the same color. For example, if your bedroom has soft green wallpaper, forest green accents in an all-white bathroom will give the space depth and character while keeping the overall color scheme.
